Free-guide requests
The First 24 Hours forms collect the email address you submit so Red Raven Press can record the guide request and provide access to the requested resource. The forms also include separate, optional checkboxes for Texas CJIS readiness updates and broader Red Raven Press professional-resource updates. Leaving those boxes unchecked does not prevent access to the free guide.
Buyer-update preferences
Purchasers may optionally submit a preferred email address on the post-purchase page to receive CJIS kit/version updates, the Texas Edition 2.0 release notice and previous-buyer upgrade offer, and—if separately selected—occasional Red Raven Press professional-resource updates. These preferences are collected separately from the payment transaction.
How form information is stored
The site is hosted on Netlify and uses Netlify Forms to receive submissions. Form names and checkbox fields distinguish free-guide requests, CJIS buyer updates, and broader professional-resource opt-ins. Submissions are available to the site owner in the Netlify dashboard and may later be exported or connected to an email service. If an external mailing provider is connected, this policy will be updated to identify that provider and its role.
How email addresses are used
Red Raven Press uses submitted email addresses only for the purposes indicated by the applicable form and the choices you make on that form. Red Raven Press does not sell submitted email addresses. Marketing/update subscriptions are optional and may be unsubscribed from at any time once mailing delivery is enabled.
Purchases and Square
Payments are processed through Square. This site does not store payment-card information. Square may collect and process payment, contact, receipt, and purchase information under Square’s own terms and privacy practices. Red Raven Press may use Square’s purchase records to confirm purchases, provide support, administer licenses, and identify prior purchasers for customer-service or upgrade eligibility; marketing email preferences are collected separately through the opt-in form described above.
Site hosting and logs
Netlify hosts the site and may process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as request logs and network information, under Netlify’s own terms and privacy practices.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site. Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device information, referring sources, and interaction data. Red Raven Press uses these reports to understand site traffic and improve the usefulness of the site. Google Analytics is not used here to sell submitted email addresses or payment information.
Advertising
This release does not intentionally include third-party behavioral advertising scripts.
